2026/27 Draft Schedule Review Now Open to Clubs

The 2026/27 Futsal Edmonton schedule has entered the club review stage.

Club owners and coaches now have access to the working draft and are being asked to review their team’s dates, times and facilities before the league moves toward final publication.

Review Window: Open Through Monday

The current review period will remain open through **Monday, September 28**.

Clubs should use the Team Review area in the club portal to flag only meaningful scheduling conflicts or issues. The purpose of this stage is to identify problems that could materially affect a team before the schedule is finalized.

This is still a **working draft** and has not been published as the official season schedule.

What Clubs Should Review

Teams should carefully check:

- Match dates - Kickoff times - Facilities and courts - Significant team conflicts - Previously submitted scheduling requests

When a club submits feedback, the league can review the issue, update its status and communicate a response directly through the review system.

Working Within Facility Availability

Building the 2026/27 schedule requires balancing competition needs with limited facility inventory.

Some matches will need to be played on weekends in order to complete all league rounds. The objective is to have league play completed by the **first week of March**, allowing teams to prepare for the provincial competition period.

For **EWFL Serie B**, matches will be played at **The Hub**, helping provide teams with a more consistent game day throughout the season.

Because of facility limitations, **some EWFL Serie A matches will also be scheduled at The Hub**.

Special Requests

The league has received a number of special scheduling requests from clubs.

Those requests are being considered as part of the overall schedule, but not every request can be accommodated. Clubs are encouraged to add any important notes directly in the draft review system so the league can assess them alongside facility availability and the needs of all competitions.

The Draft Will Continue to Evolve

Changes made to the shared working draft are reflected in the club review area, so teams are always reviewing the current version of the schedule.

Once the review period closes, Futsal Edmonton will work through the remaining feedback, resolve conflicts where possible and prepare the schedule for final publication.
